New Mexico&rsquo;s recreational and medical marijuana sales totaled $41,605,770.63 in February.&nbsp;
This $41.6M figure includes 887,569 total sales for the month. Adult-use sales made up a majority of the total figure, with 625,700 transactions and $27,663,790.79 of sales coming from adult-use sales. There were also 261,869 medical marijuana sales that totaled to $13,941,979.82.
<h2 id="0">New Mexico February Marijuana Sales Are 3% Higher Than January </h2>
The legal cannabis market in New Mexico is growing month by month. There are now 606 legal cannabis dispensaries across the state, up from 585 only a month ago. Even with only 28 days in the month, New Mexico Cannabis sales for February were up roughly 3.4% compared to January&rsquo;s total of $40.2M. New Mexico cannabis sales have been pretty consistent for the year and things should ramp up as more people get comfortable with cannabis usage. 
<h2 id="1">Average Cannabis Transaction Amount For February 2023 In New Mexico&nbsp;</h2>
New Mexico medical marijuana sales consistently have a higher average purchase price per transaction than adult-use sales. Since legal cannabis sales began, there have been a total of 9,366,280 transactions at licensed dispensaries, totaling over $440,127,547.52 in sales. With New Mexico&rsquo;s licensing structure not limiting the number of dispensary licenses allowed, we should see the number of dispensaries steadily increase as new players enter the market.
