<h2 id="0">Illinois Cannabis Retail Sales Decrease 5.4% From January to To February</h2>
February's sales come at a 5.4% decrease from January's total of $155,559,042.27. The $147.1m February figure includes $26,652,042.97 of medical cannabis sales and $120,488,569.91 of adult use sales.
More medical marijuana users in Illinois chose concentrates and /infused products, as sales of those products totaled $14,437,460.30. The dry flower sales reached $12,214,582.67.&nbsp;
Across <a href="https://weedzly.com/dispensaries/in/il">Illinois recreational dispensaries</a>, there were 3,079,621 marijuana items sold. Among the $120M in adult use sales, $30,764,036.89 came from out-of-state residents.
The $30.7M out of state resident figure for February is a 14.8% decrease from January's out-of-state sale total of $36.1M. This decrease is likely in part caused by neighboring state <a href="https://weedzly.com/dispensaries/in/mo">Missouri legalizing recreational</a> marijuana. The people of Missouri no longer have to travel to Illinois to buy recreational weed, as they can get it in Missouri.
In 2022, there were a total of $1.9B cannabis sales in the state of Illinois. That includes $1,552,324,820.37 of adult use sales and $353,601,178.56 of medical retail sales.&nbsp;
